Default Electric fan stays on high speed

Car is 98 a4 1.8t
Updated coolant sensors on radiator and rear of head

Electric fan is staying on full speed and the a/c does not blow cold air.
I have the A/C pressure switch (on condensor) unplugged and so the fan does not come on.
Would this mean the system is seeing too high of pressure? Or something else?
need some input on this subject
Thanks for your help!

I didn't know the electric fan had speeds lol. Mine has always been either off or set to ludicrous speed So when plugged in, does the fan stay on even when the AC is turned off?

Yes, even with the A/C off the fan would stay on "ludacris speed" lol

To sweeten the deal I just ripped open the a/c line bottoming out

Yeah thats weird. I seem to recall reading about this not too long ago, try doing some searching in this forum and see what you come up with. I'll see if i can dig up a wiring diagram of the cooling system

is the electric fan just for the a/c or is it a secondary cooling fan?

the fan will come on anytime the a/c is on. the high or low pressure switch only turns off/on the compressor. depending on whether the system pressure on either side is high or low. i could tell you exactly what your issue is if you had more info. you need to do a pressure test using a manifold gauge set. without knowing the pressure of both sides(while the car is running) it's impossible to diagnose.
