Engine Coolant Temp Sensor
Finally got a read on my codes and I need to replace my engine coolant temp. sensor.
The shop quoted me at $170 w/ parts and labor but I know this is a ripoff.
Also I know there is more than one ECT sensor, so which one would I be purchasing if I have had occasional ignition issues. I know a few guys are here who had the same problem suggested it may be the ECT...are all the sensors the same? Which Would I be replacing. code was P0119
Can anyone find me a link where I can purchase a quality ECT Sensor for my 99 a4 2.8 quattro?
Anyone ever replaced it themselves? Difficult? easy? Help would be appreciated and getting this done might finally subside my sporadic ignition issues.
