Just rebuilt the engine on my 99 A4, pistons, rods, rings, gasket, turbo, etc.. Was just wondering what the mileage should be for changing the oil for breaking the engine in until i go back to regular oil changes and if i should change the filter each time or not?

 

I would change it after 100 miles ish, Ive changed it sooner than that on other engines I have rebuilt.
Then once again at 1000 miles

then back to normal change intervals

 

Break it in with 40 weight non synthetic
