Default EPC & CEL are on

2001 A4 1.8T Avant w/Tiptronic

Driving home yesterday my CEL & EPC lights both came on. I just scanned the ECU and I'm receiving the following codes.

P0322 - Ignition/Dist Engine Speed Input Circuit No Signal
P0321 - Ignition/Dist Engine Speed Input CKT Range/Perf

Based on what I've found with various search engines, I believe that my speed sensor has decided to go belly up on me. I'm hoping to get some validation that replacing the part would more than likely eliminate the problem. I'm looking at the following, though I will more than likely try to purchase it locally as I need the car roadworthy sooner rather than later.

If you guys think this is the right road to go down, how tough of an install is it? Where exactly is the sensor located? Thanks guys!

Thanks for the note. The cars in the shop getting the sensor replaced. I love working on the car myself, but I tend to be slow in getting things done. Not a good thing when you don't have a weekend & need the car to be roadworthy fast!
