I'm not saying I want a grille, nor do I like them. I'm just stating that from a ways away it looks like it could be...

I did. Rolled into a local body shop. I thought it may cost something since they'd have to tap into the metal reinforcement. I only have wood drill bits and i knew it would eat them. The owner said he'd do it for free, he came out, and went through 3 drill bits before realizing that what I'd said about a bumper rebar was true. He drilled the four holes and threw it on. I had to move the bracket twice so it was centered and level, I guess he didnt think it was necessary. Finally get done like a half hour later! Annddd... its crooked. Ya get what you pay for. So I'm going to modify the plate holder/bracket today. Just drill a new hole in it that lines up level with the bumper hole.
But its there!

Driver's side of the plate is up by as little as a half inch. Its blatantly obvious in person though.

All you would have needed to do would have been to go to Home Depot and buy a Ridgid brand cobalt drill bit.
