Default Exhaust manifolds

034 or Kinetic? there does not seem to be a difference in the 2 when i compare pics, but thats just pics. is there really a differnce between the too? price wise yes, $315 canadian for kinetic at the shop i go to, and $401 canadian for 034 without shipping.

Do you have links to the 2 manifolds?

im guessing you mean the cast log styles, not the tubular manifold from 034 right? i didnt know 034 made a cast manifold....

judging by the prices you are probably looking at an ATP manifold (sold by 034) and a copy of an ATP manifold from Kinetic. the first production run of manifolds from kinetic had some problems but im pretty sure they are good to go now. might as well save some money and go with the cheaper one. but post some links so we can tell you for sure.

Sounds like your talking about the "high flow" OEM version which will allow a K03/K04 or Elim to be bolted to it.

Kinetic

034

ATP

The kinetic manifold looks to be based off of a standard "tube log" which doesn't direct the flow toward the flange on all 4 cylinders like the one sold by ATP/O34.

You really arent going to see any real gain in swapping manifolds on a stock turbo. But if you really want one, just go on ebay and get a clone manifold for about $120, plenty of people running them w/o issues

Or you could just port your stock one for free and see about the same gains...

if your getting a gtrs kit then it would help. 034 actually makes their own although ATP isn't a bad choice either.

i have the kinetic hi flow stock exhaust manifold and i really don't like it because it was a pain to install and then i figured out that the ridge on top of it was too tall and not letting it slide in right so i emailed kinetic and i was told that they had isues with that ridge being too tall and i needed to grind it off and my lifetime warranity would still be good.

after i finally got this exhaust manifold installed i can only build 15 psi of boost and my turbo lack got longer, but my factory manifold cracked on me so i had to repalce it. I was looking to in the near future sell the kinetic manifold and get the 034motorsport exhaust manifold.
