I have a a 1997 a4 quattro with auto trans and my problems initially started with the multi function switch losing reverse and occasionally would say D is 4 and 3 and park became 2nd. After replacing the switch i Icould shift to the correct gears but got multiple trans codes in this order
00652 - Gear Monitoring: Implausible Signal
00297 - Gearbox Speed Sensor (G38): No Signal
17125 -Torque Converter Clutch: Stuck OFF / No Power being transferred

I recently replaced my mfs switch thinking all would be well after getting back reverse.
I got each code one after the next over the past couple days in that order. once its moving if i clear the codes it returns to almost normal dropping rpms to what seems normal. Any ideas or past experience guys?
