Default Finally have her back after a year but...

So after my transmission blew Adriana sat in my driveway for the past 12 months! She finally has a new DTV transmission in her - yes I wish I did a 5spd swap but I didnt have the money for it.

She does have an issue however

Right now the o2 sensors are unplugged from their electric counterpart near the firewall. I also just did a K&N air filter mod and didnt have time to test it since then because of the transmission. anyways

Issue #1: When driving the car whenever I slow down to a stop the car begins to shake and rumble. I'm assuming it might be from too much air entering the system but I'm not sure.

Issue #2: When upshifting from 2nd into 3rd and 3rd into 4th the RPMs jump up about 650-800 rpms before finally downshifting. This happens in both tiptronic mode and in normal drive.

Any Ideas?

Check the MAF. It might need some cleaning.

i was thinking that especially since when the old trans went it was throwing oil everywhere. there was oil in all of the turbo lines and intercooler that i had to drain out. most of it has burned out but i'm giving her a good seafoam tomorrow to help clear the rest out. Still at 7psi (stock ecu) whats a good way to clean the maf?

with MAF cleaner - available almost right next to the sea foam at your auto parts store.

Right k&n filters are covered in oil. You need to get excessive off it

a blow dryer works better. you don't wanna use paper towels, you don't want to be burning paper in the engine lol
