First Audi, also first car
I just bought a 2000 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro and I'm in love with it.
I just have a few questions, I don't expect you do answer everything, but maybe direct me to where to find the info.
1) I want to have the Owner's Guide, is there a place I can get it for cheap?
2) The radio/CD player isn't working. The guy that sold it to me thinks that it's just a fuse, but how do I know?
2a) If it doesn't work, I can always buy a new one, but could I install it myself? Any guides or things that might help?
Thanks for your help in advance!

Well if you are looking for the Owner Manual that came with the car from Audi, then you should check EBay, they usually have them around from time to time. If you are looking for a Haynes or Bentley guide you can try an Auto Parts store or get one online as well.
Second, find the fuse panel, pull it open and look for the radio fuse. Pull it out and if it's busted insert the correct amperage fuse. If it's not the fuse pull the radio and check the wires for the radio with a multimeter.
And alas, yes you can install your own radio either finding a used stock radio or buying off of crutchfield or the sort. The biggest job there is soldering the wiring harness for the new radio, and that isn't difficult at all. After that it's just connect the connectors, mount and enjoy. The radio manufacturer will always have instructions and you can also find how-to's in the search and on Google.
Enjoy the car and if you have more questions you know where to post.

Thanks for the help!
I got my manual from eBay.
I was able to check the fuses and they're good, I'm guessing that it's something to do with the wiring. It Seems like the previous owner messed up with it, so I'll keep searching... unless you have any guides or suggestions?
Thanks again!
