Default Fmic

Anyone in Socal with a B5 A4 1.8t with a stock bumper interested in having a custom FMIC made right on their car?

Looking for one with a stock turbo or Elim kit. Might be looking to have 2 versions made, one good for 350hp and the other good for 550. Both fitting behind the stock bumper.

I like where this is going.

I'd help you out Mike but I'm up in SF.

ABSOLUTELY! I'm about an hour/ hour and a half from you, and am nearing a clutch purchase anyways... And since I'm close to buying a new clutch, I was hoping I could pick one up from you in person. So, two-fer-one?

I will let you know about the FMIC, you wouldn't even need to bring the car to me since the FMIC will be done at ER which is in Baldwin Park near the 10 and 605 fwy.

How long will be the down time of the car and how much for the whole setup including labor?

Once I have that info I will contact those that are interested. Shouldn't be more then a few days, Fred is very good at what he does. He built my custom fmic that I have on my car in 1 day, while I waited. lol

He already does, its called the ER comp. lol

If I am able to get one made with 2.3" thick core for the stock A4 bumper it too will work for the S4 bumper.

Speaking of fitting fmic behind the A4 bumper, When I tore out my ac condenser, I removed the brackets and rubber bumpstop things. Then shaved the plastic mounts off the radiator and came damn close to fitting my bumper on without trimming the bumper/crash bar up.

But what size FMIC? Even with the AC out there is plenty of cutting/trimming of the bumper and crash bar with a 3" thick core.
