3", Im not saying it still didnt need cutting. but it made it way easier. I have the ER comp, but i didnt get a replacement crash bar from them, I dont think they offered it when I got it.

To make that fit you would have had to cut the bottom lip of the stock crash bar so that the FMIC could tuck up behind it. I had a 3" Garrett too and had to do the same thing. It was a very tight fit, what I didn't like is how high the FMIC had to sit because of the stock bumper.

I was thinking of cutting out the whole bumper so the entire front mount get good air flow like yours is, but just havent gotten around to it

On my A4 bumper I ended up just drilling 2" holes.
