Default FOGS LIGHTS

99.5 AUDI A4--

Issue= My FOGS LIGHTS WILL NOT TURN ON! Not the front or the rear. I checked the FUSE it is fine, Thursday I pressed the button and it wouldnt turn on then I waited i pressed it again and they worked. Friday Morning non-of the switches for REAR or FRONT on center console were lighting up green?

I am running independent FOG LIGHT MOD.

Ideas?

Best bet would be to double-check your wiring - whenever you mess with it and do your own wiring, there's always a chance that it could come loose. I'd check each connection you made (ring terminal to inline fuse, inline fuse to wire, wire to switch). It sounds like an intermittent contact issue, so if you open up the dash and get at everything, just separate and then reconnect each wire connection you made - maybe use butt-splice connectors and make sure they're clamped and taped very well. If one of them is unraveling some, it'd give you that intermittent connection that makes them work one time, and not the next.

Umm..... It's been working for 3 Years. so i doubt it's a connection issue everything is soldered also.

thats what I am thinking went. No way to really "check it" My guess is its broken....can those switches be bad on the center console? Kinda like how the hazard switch goes?

*lol* I heard stories about how after a year or two the RELAY box just breaks.

Do you happen to know where I could get a replacement relay box?
