Hi,

So I installed my Forge 007p DV a month or two ago, I installed it with the same orientation as the stock DV.

My friend said he saw a posting from a guy from Forge that this DV is supposed to be installed "reversed"? Is that true? I can't find this posting


Sidenotes:
Would this explain why around 4K revs I seem to have my boost shut off abrubptly? I have a ebc on the way that will display my boost level so I will be able to tell soon if I am not boosting right, but I still need to know if I should have reversed the DV

Also, if it is designed to be reversed, why would this be a better design then the regular orientation. Wouldn't reversing it just not allow the air to escape and possibly cause weird stuff to happen?

 

forge designs it to work the same way as stock. with it reversed you need more spring tension to hold the valve close and slower reaction. stick with stock
