fuel filter replacement
Hey guys,
i've searched/ downloaded several owner's repair Manuel but I couldn't find an article indicating me how to change the fuel filter..
I've purchased this car recently, and judging from the engine air filter/ habitacle filter were in awful condition. I don't want to take any risks and want to change the fuel filter as well.
Could anybody indicate to me who (or a Ref) to change it..
I would really appreciate it.. thanks everybody in advance!

I don't beleive that the fuel filter is listed to replace on the maintenance schedual- meaning it's a lifetime part. They do get dirty, and it won't hurt to replace it, but you probably arent ever going to see an issue with fuel delivery if you never replaced it unless you fill er up with sand and dirt.. I think they are built to maintain flow for the long run. Keep in mind that the fuel filter is location and fitting is different for awd and fwd. A dirty air filter or anything else is not an idicator of the condition of the fuel filter operation. I have worked at a vw/audi specific shop and had never seen an issue where the solution was to replace the fuel filter. Most people do it to have peace of mind. Thats why I did mine.
