as of right now i have the stock injectors running at 58psi with a bbm fuel rail, a adjustable fprand a stock ko3s. according to this http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/minj.htmif i plug in 170 (basic crank power) plus 30 (avg chip adding power) = 200 it says i need 310cc injectors is this true? will i gain anything by getting 310cc injectors? or should i just stay with what i got

i really don't have an idea of what chip i have. My car had a 5bar fpr when i bought it

RE: fuel injector question
you are running at ~4bar which puts the stock A4 (286cc i believe) injectors to 310cc at 3 bar already. Your fueling is fine. Even though you do have a fuel rail thats not needed [8D]

RE: fuel injector question
Why did you take out the 5 bar and buy a adjustable to turn it down? I noticed on the 01',that the fuel trim at 4 bar on the high rpm is not the best and the 5 bar or equal psi helped that a little.

What did you use to judge it was running rich? Thecar should have compensated for the change, to keep proper a/f or close to it.

the reason i have the fuel rail and the adjustable frp is i had a fuel rail theat liked to fill the mount that the fpr sits in up with gas and i figured if im going to change it i should changed it with some thing better. the stockfuel rail was the real issue it some how got bent at some point and the bbm was going to get to me about 2 weeks ahead of the stock one from the dealer and it was just 20.00 dollars more.

i didn't intend to turn down the fuel pressure when i installed my adjustable frp and my fuel pressure gauge i installed the gauge first theni started the car with the 5bar frp in, then looked at what psi the gauge read, then i installed the adjustable fpr and ajusted itthe same, but at the time i had a leaking fuel rail without knowing it. So what psi shoulda 5 bar fpr be at???

RE: fuel injector question
a 5 bar is at ~70-72 psi. You could try running the adjustable at 65psi if you don't want to go so high. The stock on the 01' is a 4 bar to begin with. Maybe you thought it was a 5 bar? 58psi is a 4 bar.

RE: fuel injector question
There is no reason for you to run above 4bar of pressure.
