So i decided to try and fix my malfunctioning fuel level sender this afternoon in the process when i clamped down the line on the top at the flange cover. Anyways the hole is like a pin hole about 4 inches down just as it goes under the car below the trunk. Is there some sort of adhesive or something i could stick over it that would hold. or do i need to replace the line. I searched the forums and it seems since this is a quattro its not so easy to drop the tank and replace the line. Thanks

 

possibly cover with rubber fuel hose and worm clamp?
