Need any help? Also, you didnt have to remove the core support to remove the radiator, but I can understand why you did. It can make it a little easier. Mine came out pretty nice but the new one was a bitch to get in!

Its pretty straight forward. Drain using by unscrewing the stopper at the bottom driver's side of the radiator. Once it's drained pop off the upper and lower hoses. They have spring clips, so just use a screwdriver and push the metal clip up. Mine has a screw clamp up top as well. You'll also need to disconnect the sensor above the lower hose. Then undo the retaining clips on the top of the core support with some needle nose pliers and pull the front down and out, hinging on the bottom. Then you should be able to free the bottom. Replace with a new radiator! Dont forget to retrieve the O-ring's from the inside of the upper and lower hoses. They should probably be replaced. Also, dont forget to retrieve the Gasket from the sensor. The upper and lower hoses were a pain in the *** to put back on, but basically its just brute force.

Thanks for the info. Are the o-rings available in standard size or do I need to order some special Audi parts? Also, if I do the radiator swap while the car is jacked up in the front will I have to burp the bubbles out of the system? Thanks again.

The o rings were less than a dollar at the dealership if I remember right. Cheap! My timing belt kit came with new ones I believe. Once you get everything together, I'd lower the car and then add your coolant. Maybe add some while its up just to test for leaks, but I'd do most of the coolant burping and such on the ground.
