The future, what do you guys think?
They already use the design in forklifts and other equipment. The tread is replaceable. The problem i've heard about them is that they don't perform awesomely under extreme breaking. Personally I hate the damn things, but they will help minimize the amount of rubber used in a tire. Rubber is in such short supply right now that heavy equipment tires are back ordered for more than 3 years! My guess is the first place we will see them in action will be rally racing. I bet you some of those teams are just itching to get a tire that won't go flat!
wait is there actually some kind of agreement in putting those things on a vehicle? they look reatarded, atleast just put some damn rubber on the sidewalls to make it look like something other than a ghettomobile
they're called Tweels and they're a great product, but i would never put them on my a4
