Like I said, you may not have any problems. Simply because you have done it in the past or your friend does it does not mean you should continue to do it (in fact that is hardly a logical argument). I'm letting you know what is correct, and what every radiator manufacturer in the world recommends you do--it's your choice to ignore it.

 

Actually the "tap water" theory is from 2 things not to use. 1 is well water that does not use a softener and 2 is Euro water. Euro water is trash, that is why G12 was org. made! Research, better than listening to what bubba told ya when you were growing up!
