Getting close to a milestone...
The average person drives roughly 12k a year.
At the rate you're going, you drive the same amount as 'everyone else'.

I'm about to hit 170k on the original motor, tranny and...
TIMING BELT.
First, for those who can't see the pic, I just rolled to 240,000 miles.
As for history... I'm the third owner and have owned it since 156K miles. Previous owner left the timing belt go at 117K so he had the top of the motor rebuilt (new valves and such). I replaced the timing belt again at 190K. Since I've owned the car I have done a lot of what I would consider routine maintenance. Brakes, wheel bearings (all), clutch, front control arms, tre(both inner and outer, both sides)... all things you'd expect for a car of this age and mileage.
How about the list of things I haven't done yet that are still orginal? Like: coil packs, struts/springs, exhaust, turbo, bottom of motor, transmission, body, interior, so on and so on. I've been trying to sell the car but nobody believes it's worth anything with this kind of mileage. Thankfully though I love the car and don't really care if I sell it or not- so I'm not going to give it away to anyone just because of the mileage. Sure, it needs some things done to make it tip-top, but nothing major. I think if I play my cards right I could drive this well into the 300K mark. And given my financial situation it looks like I just may have to drive it that long...
