I see. keep in mind the size of the tire compared to your 205/55's now.. 225/40 on 18s is going to raise your car around .2" while 225/35 will lower it almost .7".. how much are you paying for the wheels/tires?

Well if Cali roads are anything like PA roads I would seriously recommend a skidplate muh man. dieselgeek.com sells 'em.
