You're not reading what I wrote.

This group buy is for A4s (B5) 97-01 with 1.8ts.

You were complaining saying:

(Flashloader technology is only available as an option to 2001 B5 1.8T owners and is NOT available for this group buy. This group buy is for a chip.)

YES, this is available to you. $270+shipping with no installation fee.

Pretty sure all GIAC tunes are now flash loaded on all the A4 1.8t years.

Just so everyone is clear about even the ndbw A4 1.8t's here is the info from the GIAC web site.

Programming for - The 1999 - 1996 B5 A4 ® 1.8T

GIAC performance software for the 1999 - 1996 B5 A4 ® 1.8T smoothly delivers a 40-50 hp and 50-80 ft-lbs gain.

Note- GIAC now offers OBD2 port and out of car flashing for M5.9.2 ECUs with flash memory. GIAC is the only tuner in the world with end user software switching. With the touch of a button you are in stock, pump or race mode, etc. Please go here for the GIAC freeware USB switcher. You may also purchase a GIAC Flashloader Handheld in place of the freeware/ PC for switching on-the-fly. The Flashloader Handheld has the benefits of being more compact, simple to use and convenient, particularly for using valet and kill (anti-theft) modes. (Prices are subject to change without notice.)

They also do flash loading for the 2000 A4 1.8t(expect the euro version).

I do correct myself, I spoke with AWE and this is what they said:

"It is all now Flashloaded. Meaning no solder work needs to be done if it's a virgin ECU. This is not something you can do yourself, ECU's have to be sent to us."

Sorry for any misunderstanding.

"We are no longer soldering ECU's. They are getting old and applying heat to an older ECU can cause it to prematurely fail." -AWE
