Default Going APR

So I made the decision:

Going stage 1 ( 93 octane ) tune from APR.

Guy at the local tuner shop added that i should probably get their diverter valve too. I know on the APR website it says that there are no other mods needed to achieve advertised results, but the shop owner says it's really a good idea to get a better DV in there. Otherwise, the stock one will break giving me some problems later. He said they would install for free since they are doing to tune. Plus APR just announced a sale.

Worth it?

a 710n DV from a 225TT would work just fine but if its already in the shop for the tune you might as well.
