4200 is just WAAY too low. I've been pricing B5 S4's for about a month as I may be in the market soon and the lowest I've seen was about 8k with some minor engine issues and a ton of miles.

 

lol... u didnt... he wrote me back and gave me the infamous im moving speech and there is nothing wrong with it he jsut cant take it thats why its soo cheap... so when i said i wanna come up and see the car... he then replied with, well its in montana, but send me cashiers check for 500 less the asking price and he would pay for shipping hahaha... i laughed and hung up on him

 

... I dunno... sounds legit to me. is the dude nigerian royalty? you know you can trust him if he is.

hahah, that has SCAM all over it. He posts in SAC about a car that is in Montana. Total BS. Why the hell would anyone post in one city about a car that isn't even there and then ask for money to ship it before the person even looks at it.

 

Had the same thing happen to me when I was in Chicago. Guy posted about an S4, I'm moving, blah blah blah, car's someplace else, etc. etc....

Everytime I asked to see the car he bailed on me, eventually just stopped returning my phone calls. I didn't get to see that post before it got flagged, what did the car look like?
