Nexxen is cheap ****. GT UHP's are a great bang for the buck.

Dont mess around, go with some Bridgestone re-050. There not the most expensive Bridgestone tire but you wont be disappointed, there have awesome wet and dry traction, tight tread pattern, and they wear awsome so you'll get every last penny out of them.

Well I guess its a compromise...whats more important great handling and short life span or crappy handling but you get alot of life out of them.
Your right they do wear down fast but they wear evenly through out the tire and I have a feeling all these people you know with 050 dont have all wheel drive... my buddy has a 04 gto with 050's and he got probly only 15k out of them and on my car an 01 s4 after one season they still look almost new.

On my 17" rims I have Raptor Tires and they work fantastic in the summer!
