got a euro trunk, how to fix bent tips.
i know i've read a couple people have fixed this, the tips that would be closest to the rear window, are bent on the lid we picked up, should i just go to town with like a hammer or what? regardless it has to be painted to ruining the finish doesnt matter.

I have no idea.
But I am interested in how much an American-Euro trunk goes for?
(I say American-Euro because there's a slight difference between the style lines of a trunk from a vehicle designed for Europe and that of an American-Euro style trunk)

yeah the NA euro has the lisence plate slot that actually will fit a NA lisence plate while the euro one is skinny to where an american plate won't fit in which is what we got off eBay for 150 bucks so even with bent tips it's worth it cause I know they can go for more than that

Audacity - I believe the 1996 Euro trunks (pre-facelift) that were in the US market were the same as the European ones. I say this because though it seems like the US plate bolts into the plate hole, you can see a slight overlap of the black plastic US plate holder (look underneath).
As for the tips, a hammer should do the job. Try doing it with a rubber mallet first.

Rubber mallets won't do anything. Go for a an autobody hammer, which you should be able to find at Pep Boys for a reasonable price. Get a flat, smooth faced one and that should do you fine. Autobody hammers are designed specifically for sheet metal work as well as balanced so they provide a more even hit.
