99.5 A4 1.8T
Secret filter with Weapon R short ram air kit
18" TSW Indy 500s w/street racing rubber

So its pretty stock.

What i want...

My weak 170hp closer to 300
any turbo/exhaust/etc.... upgrades?

A growling exhaust (but not ricer)

Need ideas, keep in mind im new to the 4 rings and to moding cars but i know what im looking for.

Give me some sweet ideas!

ok... how much money do u have? talk to mike2ptzero or whatever the hell his name is... HE is the one u wanna talk to about power upgrades

 

go to apr racing and they have kits stage 2 is abt 3 or 4k

 

The first thing people do with the 1.8t's is get it chipped and upgrade your dv. After that I haven't a clue.

Edit: I have a clue, but I don't know the deets, just what people do .

By a ATP elim kit which you can even mount right to your stock manifold if your only looking for 300hp. Later on you can always upgrade to a high flow manifold and do other mods that will get you more then that. The elim kits can actually make around 240-280whp on pump gas, so you have plenty room for more power.

hahah yea mike i was at my mechanics the other day shootin the **** and i read the *eurotuner*? sorry if its the wrong mag... and your car was in it.. with a shitton of other tastefully/working on heavily modified vws and audis.. talked about how your car was by far the fastest they had that day hahaha.. i was just thinking toooo baddd you havnt seen it latley? or maybe they have.. lol love it

 

Was it a very old issue? My car hasn't been in Eurotuner since its very first issue back in Dec 2001, maybe it was the European Car magazine for the 1.8t challenge back in 2004 when I beat all the cars including the shop cars in the drag event by a full second.

Eurotuner and the other magazines have seen and heard plenty about my car since then but refuses to put it in their magazine again even though it is making 800+hp out of a 2000 A4 1.8t ATW block.

 

yea it was older.. i shoulda looked at the date, then again i might have but forgotten.. but i think it might have been the 2004 issue.. i just know there was prolly 10 or so different cars ranging from b5s to mark IVs and whatnot.. but i def remember reading your page in particular cause they talked about how you wooped *** in their race so it musta been the same issue..

what they got no love for your piece of mechanical wonder anymore?? i think 800hp out of an A4 is more than worthy of a full 3 or 4 page article.. ehh whatever.. at least all of us and everyone else who loves audis knows it.. got anymore plans for it? or do is it tapped out? my knowledge of these cars once they reach that kinda power equates to nothing.. its just too sick haha
