what is the purpose of the hole on the kamei grille?

I could be wrong but I think authentic Kamei grills only come with circle shaped holes, not ovals. The purpose of the hole is so you can open the hood latch

Get the ebay one way cheaper and its the same thing just a bigger hole. thats what i have. And then take the rings of your stock grille and put them on it looks really good
