I'm not sure what to do... or whats cheaper to fix this..

Basically I stopped at a light, and went to turn left.. however you cant see **** in the intersection, so I crept up and of course there was someone coming.. We both tried to stop but it wasnt enough... Will I need a whole new bumper, or is there an easier way to fix this?

New bumper. Shouldn't be hard to find one in a silver. Going by your description, I'm not sure who's at fault in that scenario. Is the other guy filing a claim?

Yeah, it's probably my fault.. I cant see a way to spin it around so it will be partial fault..

You should be able to find a local part out.......removing the bumper is a little tricky, but once you do it, it's a snap.

Besides the bumper, it looks like your headlights were pushed in? Did the tabs break? If they didn't you should be o.k. with just the bumper.

Yeah it did get pushed in, and I'm not sure.. if it did what else would I need. Also how much is a new bumper from a part-out?

If the headlight tabs broke, you'd have to try to repair the tabs (not sure if it is worth trying) or buy a replacement set.....or pick up a set from the treasure yard (junkyard).

Not sure how much a bumper from the yard or a part out would run but I would imagine $100 (maybe someone can chime in who has actually gone this route).

Overall, I would say you are lucky on the damage. The most you will probably spend is for paint if it matters that much to you.....if you can't find a silver bumper.

Theres a few silver b5 part outs over on vwvortex right now, I'm not sure if they still have the bumper but it's definitely worth checking
