Default Hawk brake pads not going well

Today i installed my Hawk HPS with a set of new rotors, and the outcome was great on one side, the driver side on the other hand was pretty bad, by the looks of it the brake pad was uneven and it caused to grind into the rotor pretty bad, and when i turn left there's a pretty bad grinding noise but when i drive straight its pretty quite. As of now im going to give it a few days and hopefully it evens out and the problem ends otherwise ill be contacting HAWK about replacement pads/ do something about the rotor if it gets damaged. Im pretty upset about the issue, this is not something i would be expect from a "high end" 100$ brake pad, but there's always that 1 guy who gets unlucky and i guess that's me lol. Anyway my little rant/ 2 cents. I also ruled out that something got stuck in between the rotor and the pad, and there was no human error while installing the brake pads.
