Hi everyone I thought I'd post a project I was working on over the Weekend. After buying Blackout corner lights I couldnt find any mods done already. So rather than buy projectors or something I tried my Idea.



After taking apart the headlight which is easy since you dont have to bake the headlights they just come apart, I sanded the outer trim piece which comes off by pulling it. Then the reflective headlight assembly only on the outside.

You can see where i sanded by the white discoloration.


I masked off the rest of the headlight. ( with LOTS of tape)

I used a metalcast primer by duplicolor didnt have to use what you want. Used a couple coats of primer, three coats of gloss black.

Reassembled and dont. The picture of the final doesnt do much justice with the sun shining on my Dirty, cracked, scuffed lens.(im ordering brand new ones) Ill post again when i get them, but in person it makes a big difference not having stock headlights and blackout corners.
