oil light comes on my disply. i just did a oil change. help

i know sorry about that. i was typing it on my phone. i was trying to find a way to delete it. so when i recheck the level and its good. then what.

check the connection on the oil level sensor. the sensor should be on the oil pan

this could be a dumb question but some people still forget.... did you remember to: put the drain plug and filter back on tight enough? fill the car with the proper amount of oil, and oil of the correct type? (i know of people who just plain forgot to refill it with oil after the car was back on the ground. not a good thing)

i took to a shop that works on european cars. they change my oil. so i hope they know what oil.to use

oh you had it done at a shop and then the light came on? just take it back there and make them fix it. i thought you did it yourself.

if it is a the sensor on the oil pan. how much is it? is that something i could just do myself.
