my a/c is leaking water inside of the car on the passenger side under the dash. what could it be?

couldnt tell you for sure since i have never experienced that issue first hanf but it sounds like classic heater core failure to me...

It sounds like your A/C drain for the condensation is clogged. Checking my Bently on the exact location if I can find it.

its in the upper right under the dash. theres like a sponge thing that leaks alot of water over time

Did you check under the hood near the passenger side to make sure the drains are free and clear for the water to drain?

yeah, it sounds to me like its condensation too. Find those drain holes and make sure they are clear
