just bought car a few weeks ago, ck engine light reads these codes..
p1128, p0302, p1613 and p0302 again.
can someone inform me of possible issues?

 

The issues i have noticed with the car is a slight shaking at 35-40 mph, temp gauge works off and on, the center digital screen just broke, the car was getting unleaded 87 fuel (two tanks)....

 

Search the codes on the forum. Just a quick search on p0302 yields a result of cylinder 2 misfire diagnosis. Fix would be to move the coil pack from cylinder two to another cylinder and see if you come up with p0301, p0303, or p0304. Do the same thing for your other codes

 

when you say coil- do you mean ignition coil? how often do they go bad? i have some receipts from previous owner that shows they bought an ICM and ignition coil a few months ago. car has only been driven maybe 5000 mi

 

The ck engine light is off now due to reset- will it pass smog or will the codes pop up?
