I've posted previously regarding problems with my 98 Avant auto transmission slipping. I drained the fluid and replaced the filter along with fresh tranny fluid, but still experiencing a surge in rpms and a thud before the tranny engages into the next gear. For some reason, when using Tiptronic, I don't experience it as much, but still occasionally slips, but less frequently than in automatic mode.
Anyway, I ran an auto scan with my vag-com and got a fault in Address 02 Auto Trans. The fault says it's a Brake Light Switch (implausible signal)??

Any help understanding this would be helpful. Here is the exact reading:
