I'm still running the car like this. The coolant looks like runny diarrhea now. I hope I can get it soon.

I finally put on a new oil cooler and now the car is overheating!

This is what I did...
-drained the oil
-drained the coolant
-installed the new oil cooler with a new seal and new oil filter
-added fresh oil
-flushed out the coolant system from the reservoir outlet hose and watched all the crap come out of the inlet hose
-cleaned out the reservoir with engine degreaser and rinsed with water

I drove for a couple of days with just water in the coolant system so I could do another flush before adding coolant, but this peanut butter crap keeps appearing in the tank and the engine temp along with the oil temp keeps rising above normal (I pull over and stop when the needle gets past the next line past the center. On the freeway, I saw the oil temp go past 275!). I thought it might be because I was just using water, so I spent 25 more bucks on a bottle of G12 coolant and added 50/50 with water and the car still overheats. Frustrated doesn't even describe what I'm feeling right now. What do I do??

Aside from maybe burping the system of air looks like your HG is toast.

I've had people tell me it could be the HG, but when I drained the oil, it was PURE oil. The only problem is in the cooling system. My guess is maybe the water pump or thermostat got clogged when I did the flush and that's why I'm overheating? Also, maybe this peanut butter crap is still lodged somewhere and keeps making its way to the reservoir, but where could it be coming from? What's the best way to burp the system??

Doesn't that gunk get made from mixing g12 with that evil ethylene glycol stuff?

Yeah, that can cause the same problem. I never burped the system so maybe that can help. I think the overheating could be from an air bubble which is causing a circulation problem. Hopefully it will help.

My first guess would be air bubble burp the system and see if that helps any.

Ok. I never did it before, but I searched and read that you take off the cap, start the engine and put the heater on full blast. Then add water to the correct fill level if it's under while it's running correct?

Ok, I tried burping the system today and the car still starts to overheat. I let the car idle for a good 15-20 min. a noticed that I couldn't even get hot air to come out of the vents. Does this mean my heater core is clogged or needs replacing? Maybe a professional cooling system flush would fix this? I don't know what to do anymore. If I can't figure this out, I'm going to see how I can sell the car and never buy an Audi again.
