Help! Instrument cluster going crazy!
2000 a4 1.8t atw
Ok, so the other day, after a little spirited driving, my fuel gauge and speedo started going all sorts of crazy. I'll post a link to a video. CEL cane on and everything. When I scanned it, came up with 9 fault codes. Lemme list them.
P0130- b1 s1 malfunction in circuit intermittent
P1113- b1 s1 internal resistance too high
P0106- manifold/ barometric pressure sensor (map) implausible signal
P0507- idle control system /higher than expected
P0501- vehicle speed sensor implausible signal
I cleaned the map sensor and I think that code went away. Car runs better. Shifts aren't as hard when I let off to clutch. I checked the 02 sensor with vagcom and with a Mac scan tool and everything checked out. Being that I have a soaked floor after every rain storm, coming from where I ran the boost gauge line, (parallel to the hood latch cable) I have a leak and now I'm suspecting a bad ground or a fried relay. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Relay for the cluster? 02 sensors? Etc? I gotta locate all of fthese grounds too.
