help please!!!

i have a 99 audi a4 1.8t and the exaughst outlet of the turbo gets red hot even if i dont beat on it alot what could it be????

its normal. The temps going through the turbo are ~1k*. Its a good thing, heat makes the turbo spool. Just give the turbo time to cool before you shut it off so it last a long time

o thanx it hasent had any misfire so i guess it should be ok
