As I been posting my 98 a4 aftermarket tail and headlights were done by a butcher. One in the dark I realize when I step on my brake with the headlights off. The passanger side head light comes on. Like really.

 

Is it the headlight itself or the parking light? Because mine used to do that too.

 

Got after market headlight so ever one lights up. Head light. Led. Halo. And blinker.not sure if high beam was in car this am in dark when notice it for first time

 

Where did you get them from? Sounds like a warranty issue. Whenever customers have these problems with aftermarket lights we always get an exchange from the manufacturer. You could try to retrofit the light but first check that he connected the harnesses correctly.
