I want to try the VAG-COM attempt. I'm all out of options guys and nothing has seemed to work. I've heard about electronic problems with VW knowing Audi and VW work together..didn't expect this to happen. I'm located in SOCAL so if anyone with the VAG-COM software and correct OBDII cable is available please let me know. 1998 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8L Base. Need my car for school.

 

Anyone located in Socal have a VAG-COM software? I believe my tps needs to be adapted. I'm out of options and that's my last choice. Thanks

 

If you want to try VAG-COM to do the throttle body adaptation, you can pick up the cable/software on ebay for ~$15.
