Default HID conversion sets - what's the difference between "cheap" and "proper"?

As the title says, what's the difference between a cheap set for 30$ and more expensive stuff? Which one is a good buy? I'm looking for 6000k for my Audi A4 98' 1.6 euro

VVME makes a good HID conversion kit. I just installed mine a couple weeks ago and they are great. I know there are a bunch of other people on here that have the same kit and are very pleased with it. It was only $40 plus shipping.

I read the same on a Norwegian forum. Only thing is, I'm thinking about buying Depo lights which use H7 bulbs. Didn't see that in there..

i wouldnt recommend vvme, i tried ordering a pair from them but they never showed so i tried contacting vvme but they dont speak english so their emails werent translated very well and refused to give me my money back.

it was a big hassle and i know other people on here have had the same situations happen with them, try DDMtuning.com. they are american

Well you know, shipping-wise, shipping from the US is usually way more expensive than shipping from Hong Kong..
US shipping is usually 50-100% of the item cost so.. think I'll try vwme. Lots of people say they are good, some say they have experienced faulty items though.. But they're so cheap it's not really that big of a deal.

These cost 50% more.. http://www.ddmtuning.com/products/Ap...it-200-85.html
A viable choise. Anyone can vouch for these?

Bought from VVME about few months ago and got it delivered by DHL fast and secure. Installed in about an hour plus and play was easy. Mounted the ballasts and BOOM 6000k of light was shining from my headlights. Big difference from stock. Later the same week ordered DEPO projectors from ebay and switched HID into those. Everything was fine but one bulb broke because i accidentally dropped it so i ordered 2 more from VVME at 5 bucks a piece i would order few things just in case (i just ordered few 8000k bulbs just so i could interchange them when i feel like) but yeah overall VVME is a very good company and from what i see they sell quality product. good luck
