OP, what projectors are you using? The DEPO e-codes I ran in my 97 had adjustment levers inside of the housing that moved the actual projector lense, depending on whether they were being installed on a left-hand or right-hand drive car. The V-pattern you're seeing makes me think that one or both of them is in the wrong position. The beam pattern should be more flat, and the driver's side should step down slightly below the passenger's side so as not to blind oncoming traffic.

they are ebay projectors. i contacted the guy who sold them to me and he said that they were H1's, and according to DDM installation guides the original bulbs were the exact same as the halogens in the picture, so it is not the bulbs themselves. i will try and take a picture of the back of the housing, and they fit in smoothly, they didn't want to lock in in the back. i am basically out running my headlights going 30mph and it pisses me off.

and what is a fine for illegal hid's? they're the same as any other factory production headlights that use HID's .

and i know how to adjust the headlights to not blind oncoming drivers,

the back of the headlights have a twisty **** that moves them up and down a couple of degrees, but does nothing to get them side to side, which i wouldn't really find a use for anyway.

heating up the garage, and then i'll see whats goin on with them.

thanks for all the help guys

i spent 2 1/2 hours trying to get the little clips on the back of the headlight housing where the bulb is inserted, to fasten to keep the bulbs pressed in, and i got one, then when i tried to adjust it downward it popped out again so i gave up.

i got them a little better, to where i can see in front of myself and where the middle of the lanes are.

still not perfect, but hopefully some progress will come about.

can somebody post a picture of what their headlights look like when they are correctly aimed? infront of a garage door, and on the road? please and thank you

i feel your problem is with your projector. I will try and take a pic of the back of my headlights later on today. here is a pic of my car hitting a gate around my house. Yes, my passenger side at the time was lower than should be but my driver was right on the money where it would not interfere with oncoming traffic.

The projector i bough were also from ebay, but they are the exact same ones sold on parts4euro.com, the 2 piece Helix/DEPO black housing projector beam.
http://www.parts4euro.com/DCShop/pro...roducts_id=532

these are exactly the ones i got but i got them on ebay for cheaper, and yes they were new. But I'm assuming you did not get these cause the regular beam bulb for these are actual D2S HID bulb. Those other cheaper housings use the H1 bulbs, the ones with like the HALO's or wateva, not really good quality stuff. I hope this helps...........

yeah, i knew the quality of the lights were no good when they don't really fit lol. i might just go back to stock until i can afford the depo headlights, they would look better anyway

i hate not being able to see, and it's really unsafe being it winter, and i had to drive through a blizzard with basically no visibility last night. thank god for quattro.

I have these exact same headlights except my corners arent the same. My lights seem to do the exact same thing yours are. I don't have HIDs but it's still horrible. I cant see squat. And it sucks because it gets dark around 5:20 here so half my day is undrivable. If you find a fix please post
