I know hids are a good upgrade from the standard light, however i got some angel eye projectors off ebay and they adviced me not to put hids in them because it could burn the plastic. Is this true, i want to upgrade to 6000k hids but i dont want to mess these headlights up. Does anyone have thisd setup or know anything about it? I need to do this asap, i have a headlight out and instead of investing 30 bucks in bulbs i rather spend a little more and really enhance my vision at night and i love the way they look to.

 

I have the angel eye projectors in my car and i put silverstar ultra whites in it and it looks quility HID looks brighter then 4000k but not that crazy blue 6000k...just something to think about thous japans hyperwhites i have on my fog lights and they look really good...you might not need the conversion kit

 

can you post pics, the only thing is i dont want to damage the headlights by burning them, so what would be smarter, to upgrade to 55w bulbs, some hyper whites or the hid upgrade?

 

I upgraded to a hid 8000k from the stock H7's. It looks nice at night. definetly gives the car some attitude Burning the lenses? I don't think so...Iv'e had mine on for months now, no burning.

 

since the bulb is gona be a lot hotter it could very well melt the plastic since cheapo egay headlight's design are cheap and crappy. i would just get some silverstar ultras if your gona stick with those headlights

 

unfortunately i can not upgrade to ecodes for a while. I am going to stay with this setup for a while, but i am trying to enhance my vision at night and i do want some bright *** lights to **** people off, haha. But i do not want to mess these headlights up and burn them, so am i better off with some good silver star's or should am i good with HIDS. (Even though the company advised me not to)

 

if the people who made them advised against it, i would trust em and just get some silverstars. or you can risk it and throw some HIDs in. maybe wait for someone to chime in that has the same headlights.

 

yea im trying to find someone who has the same setup, i know i prob shouldnt, but i want them so badly!

trash the lights...
upgrade to oem projectors, put in hid's
