Thats what I needed to hear. Thank you once again, auditech79. Never leave us!God forbid members encounter a non misfire issue. Why you have not been made a moderator or given some authority around here is beyond me. I'll keep trying for you!

Your havin a bad night too huh? Audis are a great way to get some time off the wife if ya know what im sayin... Anyways what I mean by the deal is what is up with it? U check it out? Im new on here and I know you know alot more about audis than I do but just tryin to help out with my experience. Just tryin to get you thinkin cuz if the clutch was your disabling problem you would have been revin high and smelled it when it finally went. How long have you owned this one? If the previous owner was ridin the clutch maybe they were power shiftin without the clutch too, toolin on the tranney

I had just woken up from a captin and coke induced nap. I'm always cranky after a nap, sorry. But it's true. If we didn't have auditech, a lot of us would be fukced. I bought this car in non moving condition as a project for $1700 a couple weeks ago knowing it had a tranny problem. I have never driven it so i dont have a lot to go off of. Master cyl. seems to operate fine. Thanks for trying to help out, i do appreciate it!

That explains alot...the fact that you have never driven it is a whole different story. Tough PITA gettin started on these cars when you buy em with nuthin to go by but all worth it in the end if you get it. Especially when you do like me and spend 2g's on a prob and it still doesnt work right

I should have been more clear on the original problem/history. I have like 2 or 3 threads going about this car so i assumed everyone knew what was going on.

Someone should get you a mirror to talk to! Should we sticky your threads from now on??

You're the best.
