i guess i have to burn up my first post with a dumb question but... will a hood from a 98 a4 fit my 99.5? thanks guys.

 

It'll fit, but the windshield washer jets are on the hood of the '98, and NOT on the hood in a '99.5, so you'll have an extra set...

The difference is the preface has them on the top side of the hood and on the facelift they are mounted on the bottom side of the hood.

So all you have to do is make sure the newer hood comes with the sprayers and you can hook them up to your line.
