he was talking smack in some other thread and i thought i would leave it alone.... give the newbie a break, but when i saw that i had to say something....... i know my a4 is not fast by anymeans and deffinetly not the fastest..... but a stock sti is in the mid to low 14's... seeing as you are in co probably high 14's cause the car is struggeling to breath........ but there is no way with just a diode and ghetto intake and an ebc that you can get your car into the 12's or 13's
and i posted my comment right after his which was 30 minutes ago and the kid and yes i say kid cause of the outrageous claims, is still online and not deffending himself
and if i had beaten some cars like that i would deffinatly have video

He's like one of the few exceptions. Even then his car still isn't that fast. I could cut the same 60' times in my pos mustang with a few thousand into it, after 2nd gear(60mph) it was a dog though. I just don't know why you'd buy an a4 and worry about being fast.

Our cars are not made to be fast and shouldnt be made fast? How bout throwing a GT28rs on there and be high 12's.

Umm, actually I had a question on my rear brake setup. I then saw this thread; I just cant imagine someone buying an A4 looking to make it a fast car.
I gave my input if you dont like it fine no big deal, I just know my a4 is painfully slow but its not why I bought it; can't see anyone buying it for speed or to make fast because its so slow to begin with. Anyways, it's a big ricer arguement "if i throw a turbo on it".

First off turbos are not ricer, secondly I bought my A4 because of the AWD, a 1.8T is easily modifiable to be a quick car. If you're going to start comparing cars to an Audi, at least compare something similar and lastly, if you're going to compare cars, just realize that my Shelby GT 500 will dump on your mustang, and a Bugatti Veyron will dump on my Shelby, this can go on all day.
