I think the rattling comes from your rear license plate. If you have a license plate frame, that's probably the cause of it.

If it still goes on, try taking the license plate apart and use any soft material to "stuffed" the plate to the holder so there won't be any loose space.

Good luck.

my bass hits pretty hard too but i hardly get any rattling. my rear deck looks like it's gonna jump outa my car though lol. play some loud music and keep the trunk open. if you don't hear any rattling, it's your license plate. do you have anything in your trunk that is loose? also check the factory amp brackets if you have one and the locking system on the passenger side of the trunk

I just put a 10" Kicker in that bumps pretty hard too. I had a good amount of rattle until I used dynomat on my license plate. I would say give that a try and also remove anything you have in your trunk

ok i opened up my trunk and it was clear so i took off the license plate and then put some sticky foam padding between the license plate and the trunk....that stopped rattling but now the top of my trunk rattles? is there anything i could do myself inside the trunk on the top to fix this?

i used those rubber washer things they use for the sinks and it works like a charm. pull the carpet from the top of your trunk and you should be able to figure out what's going on.
