Yea some have issues with this luckily for me I did not since I had a cel come on after the fact. Keep your stock unit handy just in case.

Ugh... Why would you sell it? Just plug your stock in momentarily and plug your aftermarket back in. Besides I haven't heard of that problem yet. Might be on other Symphony I and Concert stereo's

from what ive heard the diagnostics that cant be pulled up are only ones that have to deal with the climate control, which would make sense. but like euro 2nr said its most likely dependeant on what year and radio you got

My radio broken and I want to replace it with a aftermarket too.
If I bought the dash kit and harness (do I still need the antenna adapter if I am not going to listen to the radio?), will this one fits? http://cgi.ebay.com/IN-DASH-WMA-MP3-...1%7C240%3A1309

The attached picture is the back and output of the player. It seems to has two sets of RCA, but how do I connect the power supply? Thanks

As i said, only buy metra parts! I mean this! the **** from wal-mart, even if it works the first time, wont work for long. there is a reason it is so much cheaper. you get what you pay for. o yah, only get metra branded parts!!! (but i think he was just talking bout the radio removal tools, in which case get whatever you can find cheapest)

well he doesnt know for sure if there is or isnt a cd player in the trunk. there prolly is but it would be (well it is in my car) on the left side right inside a little compartment that has a small tool kit.

ok that link is to a radio with a universal install kit. there is no way in hell any parts that come with that will work. the harness you buy has wires that you solder all together for everything including power supply, ect.
