I have a 1996 2.8 a4 and i was wondering how low can i lower it without messing with anything else. All i want to do is put 17'' on it and get rid of that nasty gap.

 

if you dont have a lot to spend then get lowering springs, but if you got over 1k then get some coilovers and you can go as low as you want keeping in mind to not let the wheels touch anything they are not supposed to

 

i was thinking lowering it around 1.5'' or so with just springs maybe h&r idk. would that cause any trouble?

 

there shouldn't be any problems with doing that, just make sure you get the right springs cuz i believe that quattro and non quattro are different.

Yeah its a quattro. im from East Grand forks, hour north of Fargo. Wow thats a little to low for me. how low is that and did you have to adjust anything else to get it that low?

 

just vmaxx coilovers. 5 people = scraping. everywhere.

 

i honestly didnt even think our cars could fit 5 people in them... well not with how far back my seats are at least haha
