Default How many Bolts?

How many bolts hold the alternator on? I see the one on top and I think that there is one on the front under the pulley....is there another? And can you take it out without pulling the bumper out? Someone know where I can find a DIY for this thanks

Two bolts most of the time, they are also different sizes between the two. You can do it fine without removing the front end if its a 1.8T

2 bolts. You should be able to get the belt off without pulling the front end into service position in order to get that pulley off and access to the bottom alt. bolt. I think thats how it goes. Iirc the bolt for that pulley gets taken out from behind.

if you have a 2.8, just unbolt enough bolts so that you can slide the front end forward like 5 inches. you don't need to take the bolt completely out, just wiggle it up and out

Yep it's a 2000 1.8T and special considerations?

Thanks
